Radio play “I heard about the end of the world” on NDR media

A radio play about two young women who know what will happen in a month. That doesn’t work for either of them.

Every evening at 7:21 p.m. sharp, Semra and Anna find out what the future holds. At first, the two young women can’t believe what they’re hearing on the old tube radio that Anna gave her friend on a whim for her birthday. They think the speaker made a slip of the tongue when he said September 16th, even though it’s only August 16th. And what the man reports about their hometown of Rottland, a settlement in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with a lake, a gas station, a bus stop and hardly anything else, simply sounds untrue.
