Tuesday morning, “the agents of the Simone-Veil childcare center and many parents accompanying their children” discovered “racist and anti-abortion messages accompanied by symbols of the far-right movement” on the front of the establishment of Mérignac (Gironde), indicates the municipality in a press release.
“For several months, associations for the defense of women’s rights such as family planning of the Gironde, or elected offices have been targeted by such racist inscriptions or denunciation of the right of women to dispose of their bodies”, specifies the town hall. “The multiplication of these degradations testifies to the persistence and violence of radical far-right groups on our territory. »
