The prognosis Canalturf.com

Calgary Games photo

Quinté+ on Sunday at Vincennes in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q6 – Prix de Belgique, an international harness race at Group II level, over 2,850 meters on the long track, for ages 4 to 11 inclusive, geldings excluded, having won at minus €160,000. CALGARY GAMES (our photo), Swedish champion, looks formidable.

6 CALGARY GAMES : Undefeated in ten outings in Sweden, he experienced his first defeat by being disqualified for a foul in the turn of the plain in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q4, when he was in the front row. He is said to be at least as strong as his father Readly Express. It’s up to him to confirm it by redeeming himself in this final preparatory race for the Prix d’Amérique.

3 GU OF HERIPRE : This third in the Prix d’Amérique 2021 is in ascending form as evidenced by his race on January 1 in Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q5 in which he was disqualified after investigation of sixth place after having made a good effort. Presented for the first time in his career unshod four feet, it should be particularly wary. It will probably be all or nothing.

15 HOHNECK : Well known among the elite trotters of his promotion, he has several times rivaled his elders by showing himself to be very efficient. Second in the Critérium des 5 ans, second in the European Championship for 5 year olds and fifth in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q4, this real metronome can enter this event with high ambitions.

13 HOOKER BERRY : On December 11, he pleasantly imposed himself in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q2. In good shape and with Jean-Michel Bazirethis good and serious 6-year-old trotter, who knows how to finish very quickly, is able to participate once again at the finish.

7 BLEACH : Fourth in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q2 and Q5, this mare is in top form this winter. Very good finisher, it has the means to take up a place after a good run, especially as the long distance of 2850 meters will benefit it.

2 HORSY DREAM : After two great victories in Groups III at Vincennes, he won the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q4 on December 24 on the 2700 meters of the big track. Better than ever, he finds a new opportunity to distinguish himself before presenting himself with a good chance in the big meeting at the end of January.

12 ITALIANO VERO : He has always been highly regarded by his trainer, Philippe Allaire. Second in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q1, he already has his ticket for the Prix d’Amérique in his pocket. It will not be unshod but still remains very efficient when running in this configuration. Gifted, he can be considered for a nice allocation.

18 DELIA DU POMMEREUX : Fifth in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q2, she brilliantly returned to success by winning the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q5, over the 2100 meters of the big track, her favorite course. Considering her current good dispositions, she is recommendable for a place.

In case of non-starter : 3 BEADS

The prognosis Genybet.fr

On Sunday, the traditional Prix de Belgique (Gr. II), the last qualifying event for the Prix d’Amérique, will be the support event for Quinté + (Top5 on genybet.fr). 18 competitors aged 4 to 11 inclusive will compete over the distance of 2,850 meters and try to win the last qualifying tickets for the “beautiful”. At fault for his debut in France, on December 24, Calgary Games (6) will have the spirit of revenge in this event and will try to pocket his qualification for the queen event, scheduled in 15 days. The resident of Timo Nurmos, then undefeated in 10 outings in Sweden, had made the mistake on the plain in the Prix Ténor de Baune (Gr. I). This time he will be wearing his shoes. Again entrusted to Björn Goop, he must be able to dispute the victory. Winner of the Prix du Bourbonnais (Gr. II), Hooker Berry (13), unshod four feet and associated with Jean-Michel Bazire, should not be far from the mark. Presented without his four shoes for the first time in his career, Gu d’Héripré (11), who will find Franck Nivard for the occasion, will also be a candidate for the podium. Fifth in the Tenor de Baune Prize, Hohneck (15) is able to finish in the winning combination of the event, just like Beads (3)another resident of Jean-Michel Bazire. Horsy Dream (2), already qualified for the Prix d’Amérique, will be presented ferré. It can take up a place, just like Discoloration (7)twice fourth in prep recently, who will try again to win his precious qualifying ticket.
