Quinté+ on Saturday at Vincennes in the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q4, an international Group I level harness race, over 2,700 meters on the big track, for 5-year-olds, geldings excluded, having won at least €54,000. Preceded by a flattering reputation, CALGARY GAMES (our photo) looks formidable.

11 CALGARY GAMES : This Swedish 5-year-old colt has ten victories in ten races. After fourteen months of absence, he won easily for his comeback on December 14 at Solvalla. He is said to be better than his father Readly Express, winner of the 2018 Prix d’Amérique and who was a phenomenon. Therefore, it looks difficult to beat.

12 HONEY MEARAS : High level Swedish 5 year old mare, trained by Daniel Reden, she is also out of the stallion Readly Express. It remains on three successes in Sweden, including one in a Group II on October 8 at Aby. It has won sixteen times in thirty races. For her debut at Vincennes, she should play a leading role.

7 HAPPY VALLEY : She remains on two second places in Groups II, over 2850 and 2100 meters long track. Confirmed among the elite of 5-year-old French trotters, this excellent finisher has the means to get on the podium after a good run.

13 HOHNECK : Irreproachable, he is one of the best 5-year-old trotters in France. In forty-two races, he finished thirty-eight times in the top three, including eighteen wins. Its shape is sure. It is one of the priority choices.

4 HERALD AT ARMS : It has just behaved well during its last two outings, in Group II. Unlucky in the Critérium des 5 ans, he then won the European Championship for 5-year-olds (Gr. I). A safe bet now among the elite 5-year-olds, he has a good part to play.

5 HORSY DREAM : Disqualified from fourth place in the Critérium des 5 ans, he has since redeemed himself, remaining in particular with two easy victories at Vincennes in Group III. Better than ever, he has his say for a good ranking.

6 HIP HOP HAUFOR : By winning the first of the former four “B” races (Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q1), he is already qualified for the big meeting at the end of January. He finished pleasantly in seventh place in the Prix du Bourbonnais (Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q2). He will definitely run beaten and come at the very end. This good finisher can be considered for a small place.

8 BARBRO KRONOS : Fourth behind Honey Mearas on 26 November at Solvalla, it could not be classified sixth in a Quinté+ of level A on 8 December for its debut at Vincennes. It is better than that and should certainly run in progress. For fifth place, it’s not an impossibility.

In case of non-starter : 3 FIRST BLOOD

The prognosis Genybet.fr

It’s one of the key events of the winter calendar, the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q4 – Prix Ténor de Baune, which awaits us, this Saturday, December 24, on the Paris-Vincennes cinder track and will serve as a support for betting at the map. Thirteen 5-year-old elements have an appointment on the classic course of the big track on the occasion of this Group I. Announced as a real crack, the undefeated Calgary Games (11) will make its grand debut in France. Indeed, this Scandinavian trotter has never known defeat in ten public appearances and has just made a convincing comeback at Solvalla after several months of absence. The opposition will obviously be quite different this time… But if he lives up to his reputation, he must pass this test successfully! Son of Scipion du Goutier, Horsy Dream (5) has continued to cross the thresholds in recent months and has obviously not shown everything. Unlucky this summer in the Critérium des 5 ans, he has since set the record straight and has just triumphed brilliantly twice… when he was shod. Totally barefoot here, he is capable of a number. Winner of the Prix d’Amérique Races Zeturf Q1, Hip Hop Haufor (6) has just run wisely for this appointment and also deserves the greatest respect, like the metronome Hohneck (13)or even Happy Valley (7), which seeks its course. Long maintained by JMB, Herald of Arms (4) is now reaching full maturity. Stop him. With 882,419 euros in his bank account, Honey Mearas (12) is certainly not the first comer. Its first release in France deserves our full attention. Bengurion Jet (9) represents a formidable tandem and will try to blur the issue.
