Recipe for a quick Pasta e Ceci in under 20 minutes

Ingredients for four servings

  1. Peel the garlic and onions and chop finely. Wash the parsley and shake dry. Drain the chickpeas in a sieve, rinse well and drain.
  2. Heat some olive oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion and sauté.
  3. Add tomato paste, sugar and Italian herbs. Allow the sugar to caramelize. Add chickpeas.
