Queen Elizabeth II is launching a scent for dogs that is supposed to make the four-legged friends smell like “coastal walks”.

Queen Elizabeth II (95) is said to be releasing a perfume for dogs. That reports “The Sun”. The “Happy Hounds Dog Cologne” should therefore smell like “coastal walks”. It is a “rich, musky fragrance with citrus notes of bergamot”.

The fragrance is produced locally by perfume maker Norfolk Natural Living and will be sold at the gift shop at the royal Sandringham estate in Norfolk, according to the report. The scented water is equally suitable for bitches and dogs. A gift box for dogs is also available for purchase at the gift shop on the grounds of the Queen’s Manor. This includes a dog shampoo with the “Coast Walk” scent, treats and a toy.

Soft spot for dogs

Queen Elizabeth II is known for her love for dogs. She is particularly fond of one breed: it is said that she has already owned more than 30 Corgis. She is also a big fan of Dorgis. It is said that only recently an award-winning Cocker Spaniel lady was allowed to move in with her.
