Four new stamps are coming in November
The Royal Mail issued four stamps honoring the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Four new stamps featuring Queen Elizabeth II go on sale in November. Stamps with King Charles III. follow.
Four new stamps honoring the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) will be launched on 10 November 2022. This was confirmed by the British postal service Royal Mail on its website. The new stamps, the first to be issued by King Charles III. (73) have been personally approved, show the monarch throughout her life and go on general sale.
The first stamp shows the Queen in 1952 during her accession to the throne, another photo shows the monarch in 1968. The two most recent images of the black and white stamps depict Queen Elizabeth II in 1984 and 1996. The stamps are reissues of the Golden Jubilee Collection released in 2002 and approved by the Queen herself at the time.
The set of all four brands is available for the price of 6.03 pounds (equivalent to 6.77 euros) and can already be pre-ordered. In addition, the Royal Mail has confirmed that the King’s image will replace all images of the Queen on stamps in the future. The new stamps with the likeness of King Charles III. go into circulation as soon as current stocks are exhausted. Pictures of Charles will be announced at a later date.

According to the Daily Mail, the Royal Mail said: “In order to minimize the environmental and financial impact of the change of monarch, the existing stocks of definitive stamps depicting the late Queen, as well as the commemorative stamps showing her silhouette, will be distributed and issued as planned.”
