According to insiders, Queen Elizabeth II is said to be recovering well from her corona infection. Now she also made an official appointment.

Queen Elizabeth II (95) is officially back at work. During two virtual audiences, the British Queen welcomed the new ambassadors from Chad and Andorra, according to the palace. Most recently, the monarch had to cancel comparable appointments due to a Covid 19 disease.

The Queen received Ambassadors Carles Jordana Madero and Kedella Younous Hamidi at Buckingham Palace on March 1. She herself was connected digitally from Windsor Castle. British media had previously reportedthat Elizabeth II met with some family members on Sunday.

An afternoon with the family

Prince William (39), the Queen’s grandson, and his wife, Duchess Kate (40), are said to have visited the Queen with great-grandchildren Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3). According to reports, Princess Beatrice (33) and her daughter Sienna (5 months) were also on site at Windsor Castle. According to insiders, Elizabeth II is recovering well from her illness.

On February 20, the palace confirmed that the Queen had contracted the corona virus. She suffers from “slight, cold-like symptoms”. Previously, Prince Charles (73) and his wife, Duchess Camilla (74), had also tested positive.
