Every year Queen Camilla looks forward to her literary evening at Clarence House. This year a “The Crown” star was also there.

queen Camilla (76) once again held her literary reception at Clarence House on Tuesday evening. Her book club, The Queen’s Reading Room, has its third anniversary this year. On the occasion of the anniversary, Camilla once again welcomed numerous authors, neuroscientists and members of the literary community into her hallowed halls. Some acting stars also mingled with the guests.

Dame Joanna Lumley (77), Rupert Everett (64), Derek Jacobi (85) and “The Crown” star Helena Bonham Carter (57) were present at Camilla’s book club evening. The latter played Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II, in the third and fourth seasons of the Netflix series. The actress, dressed entirely in black, chatted animatedly with Camilla, who wore a chic ensemble consisting of a dark green satin skirt and a black tweed jacket for the special occasion and also chose black boots with a slight heel.

In her speech, Camilla spoke about the results of “a groundbreaking research study” commissioned by her book club, says the Royal Family’s latest Instagram post. Some studies have been carried out for this. The result that Camilla proudly announced to her guests: Just five minutes of reading a day can reduce stress by almost 20 percent and improve concentration by up to 11 percent.

Charles was missing from Camilla’s book club evening

While King Charles III. (75) was a guest at Camilla’s literary reception last year, but the monarch was missing this time. While he is undergoing cancer treatment, Charles does not want to attend public appointments. But he is not giving up his work; the king currently holds regular audiences and meetings at Buckingham Palace, including on Tuesday.

Along with Camilla, Charles will also attend the traditional Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The palace also announced this on Tuesday. It was also said that the royal couple would be “accompanied by other members of the royal family”.

Kate and William don’t come to the Easter service

However, heir to the throne Prince William (41) and his wife Kate (42) would not take part in the service, wrote the Daily Mail. The Princess of Wales made her cancer public on March 22nd. Given her chemotherapy, she probably won’t be back for appointments for a few weeks or even months.
