Queen Camilla
She wore the dress at Harry’s wedding
Royal recycling: Queen Camilla has once again presented the dress she wore to Harry and Meghan’s wedding at Ascot.
Queen Camilla (75) causes a stir with her outfits at the traditional Royal Ascot horse race. On the second day, she surprised with a dress that she already wore for the wedding of Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) five years ago. Kicking off on June 20, she made headlines with a white Dior ensemble.
At Ascot she combined a different hat
King Charles III’s wife (74) recycled her pale pink Anna Valentine coat dress from May 19, 2018. Camilla only changed the headgear: instead of the pink feather hat she wore for the royal wedding at Windsor Castle, she chose a yellow brimmed hat for Ascot Philip Treacy.
Various media speculate whether the British Queen’s choice of clothes is another dig at Meghan and Harry. Camilla’s white Dior look sparked discussions on day one. Because just a few days earlier, rumors had been circulating that her stepdaughter was about to sign a big advertising deal with the French luxury brand. The reports were quickly denied by both the Sussexes and the fashion house.
