After Snapchat severely disappointed the stock market with its figures, investors are anxiously waiting for fresh data from Google. The online giant also has to accept deductions – but is proving to be robust.

Google is also feeling the effects of the downturn in the online advertising market: The business grew more slowly in the past quarter and the profit of the parent company Alphabet fell significantly.
