In the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup, RB Leipzig plays at second division side Hannover 96, there is a Bundesliga duel between Bochum and Freiburg. Hamburger SV welcomes Karlsruher SC and Union Berlin plays against St. Pauli.

The former ski star and current ARD winter sports expert Felix Neureuther was supposed to draw lots, he had to be represented at short notice by Borussia Dortmund’s stadium announcer Norbert Dickel because his daughter was ill.
Two wins to the final
