Putzbrunn – Residents are spared development costs – District of Munich

Even if these are not large individual amounts, the residents of Tannenstraße in the Waldkolonie district of Putzbrunn should be happy that they are spared these costs: As Mayor Edwin Klostermeier (SPD) explained in the municipal council, development contributions that are actually paid by the residents would have been carried, but now no longer raised. “The problem is the statute of limitations, we had to take into account changes in the development contribution law when billing, ultimately there was never legal certainty,” explains the mayor when asked. The road, which was actually built in the early 1970s, was only finally completed in 2006 due to various postponements in the construction of the sidewalks, and the development plan could only be adapted in 2018 due to a late acquisition of land. Since the limitation periods began in 2006, it is no longer possible to allocate the remaining costs to the property owners. They had already paid part of the development costs, which totaled almost 392,000 euros. The outstanding 200,000 euros are now missing from the municipality’s budget.
