How much do you need every month to live properly? According to the Society and Consumption Observatory barometer (ObSoCO) published at the end of March for the online bank BforBank, the French need a large sum pto reach a certain “financial well-being”.

According to this study, the French need 897 euros more per month to feel a certain financial comfort. 60% of them say they are dissatisfied with their current financial situation and emphasize that they need this additional amount to live well on a daily basis.
This amount also evolves according to one’s salary but also agethe 55-64 year old group believes they need 1,014 euros to live well, while single-parent families only claim an additional 1,077 euros compared to their current situation.
This “financial well-being” translates concretely into the ability to be able to not be never uncovered for 93% of respondents, knowing how to manage their budget (91%) or being able to put money aside every month (85%).
