The Pullach parish of the Holy Spirit has been supporting the Alma Mater hospital in Gros Morne in northern Haiti for 40 years. Now the doctors and nurses at the hospital can look forward to a Christmas present that can save lives. To mark the 40th anniversary of the partnership between the parish and the hospital, an urgently needed X-ray machine is to be donated this year, which will cost around 40,000 euros. 8,000 euros have already been achieved from donations and campaigns, and now Martin Salfer and Felix Jäger from the parish asked for a one-time grant at the latest meeting of the local council. Mayor Susanna Tausendfreund von den Greens asked both of them to submit an official application for a grant.
