Pullach – once and for all undesirable – district of Munich

When the Christian Socials changed their statutes about 15 years ago so that both the transferring and the receiving local association now have to give their consent for a member to change their local association, the party reacted to the Munich CSU affair, the focus of which was on smuggling members and buying votes. That party members who had fallen out of favor with this veto right could be withdrawn from circulation forever was probably no one at the time.

Exactly for this purpose, however, the CSU local branch in Pullach has apparently refused the former parliamentary group chairman in the local council, Andreas Most, permission to move to the local branch in Neuried, who would have liked to accept him. In a press release on Monday, the Junge Union Pullach has now openly explained the motive for its refusal under the title “Former board member on the wrong track”: “The reason why we as the Junge Union did not advocate a change of Dr. Mosts to Neuried to endorse it is obvious. We would not approve if Dr. Most continues to pursue politics on behalf of the CSU, regardless of which local association he is a member of. “

In the letter signed by its local chairman Florian Leeb, the Junge Union Pullach admits without further ado that it wanted to block Andreas Most’s way to a local association for all the future. The CSU district chairman Florian Hahn did not want to comment on this process. The open words of the Junge Union are surprising insofar as Christine Eisenmann, Most’s successor as parliamentary group leader, refused to comment on the reasons and also from a few days ago, pointing out that the decision against Most’s request to change had been made in a closed session the head of the CSU local branch in Pullach had not yet been given any information. The JU has so far deliberately remained silent about the Most case, it is now said, but it does not want to leave repeated false claims and has decided to provide more clarity.

As reported, Most was dumped in February in new elections in the local association, in his opinion, the rift between him and the association leadership continues to this day. In the meantime, he and Caroline Voit, who has completely resigned from the CSU, have founded the “Pullach Plus” faction. Most wants to remain a member of the party, but has nothing more to do with his own local association. The fact that this is based on reciprocity does not hold back at least the JU: An authoritarian and power-conscious politician is Most. According to the press release of the JU, he has accused colleagues on the board of directors of betrayal of secrets because they did not break off all contacts with the WIP faction that had split off from the CSU, and he called other middle-class parties in the local council as “AfD 2.0”.
