Pullach: commercial tax oasis in a run-down train station – Munich

The Isar valley station looks deserted. But numerous companies have their official headquarters here – allegedly because they do not need “extensive office operations”. Or is it because of the tax rates?

The plaster is crumbling and cracked, paint is peeling off the window frames, moss covers the floor. From time to time a train passes on the way to the mountains, but no one has stopped here, at the former Isar valley station in Großhesselohe, for a long time. The buildings look like they have been abandoned for many years. But if you go under a tape and around a building in search of a sign of life, then suddenly there is a shiny silver mailbox and a neat door sign. 15 company names are listed at the address Bahnhofplatz 1, 82049 Pullach, including “Brunner Verwaltungs GmbH” and “UBC Flightservice GmbH”.
