Pulitzer panel praises student reporting in US media

For weeks, thousands of students at US universities have been protesting against the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip. There are repeated evictions by the police; so far, according to US media, more than 2,000 people have been arrested at more than 40 universities. The protests are often accompanied by student reporters on site, which is why the jury of the Pulitzer Prize, which otherwise awards awards for outstanding journalistic work every year, has now spoken out.
