BSVG and WVG confirm: All-day strikes on Friday in Braunschweig and Wolfsburg
On Monday evening, the BSVG announced that buses and trains in Braunschweig would remain in the depot from the start of operations until the end of operations. There will be no BSVG regular services; all light rail lines and all bus lines with a 400 number will be affected. This also applies to the call line taxis (ALT). The service point at the main train station and the service center on Bohlweg also remain closed. The service hotline is only available from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WVG’s operations in Wolfsburg also fell victim to the strike. The subcontractors are unlikely to be affected by the strike, so the routes they operate can be operated, according to the WVG.
According to Verdi spokesman Sebastian Wertmüller, the course of the first negotiations is the reason for this Warning strike on Friday.
