The French President Emmanuel Macron ennobles Paris superstar Kylian Mbappe for virtues such as down-to-earthness, ambition and fair play.
Words of praise for Kylian Mbappe: In a post for L’Equipe French President Emmanuel Macron wrote of the 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker that despite his great fame, he embodies “a serenity, a calm ambition” and has “his eyes on the stars, but his head on his shoulders”.
The newspaper recently named the PSG striker France’s most influential footballer of the year.
Macron on Mbappe: “Has rare awareness of his role”
In addition to ambition and fair play, Macron also praised Mbappe’s decision to take the risk of involvement. He alludes to his commitment to social issues such as vaccinations and against violence: “Kylian Mbappe has a rare awareness of his role, the weight of his words and the power of his actions. He has proven the qualities of the greatest: clarity, courage, resilience . “
The president’s wish is that the international striker will continue to enchant fans with his “jubilant gestures, brilliant passes and magical goals”. He’s already certain of one thing: “He will continue to amaze us,” said Macron.
