PSG executives, including Mbappé, exchanged with Christophe Galtier

In the midst of a media storm due to the racist remarks of which he is accused during his stay in Nice, Christophe Galtier was approached by several of his players at PSG. The Parisian technician notably exchanged with Christophe Galtier.

The accusations of racism contained in an email from Julien Fournier (ex-director of football for OGC Nice), targeting Christophe Galtier, continue to agitate the small world of football behind the scenes. In high places at Paris Saint-Germain, investigations are continuing to find out what happened.

The PSG coach himself discreetly called some of his contacts in Nice to sound out the field and try to find out if any players intended to speak. A hypothesis he would fear. Former players trained by Galtier were surveyed by the entourage of President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, anxious to verify the comments reported by Julien Fournier in his famous email.

Rivère was heard by the investigators

Moreover, when the affair broke out, certain executives of the Parisian locker room asked Christophe Galtier to find out more. Informal exchanges took place with several players, including Kylian Mbappé. But there was no speaking in front of the group. Finally, according to sources, a doubt remains on the existence of a recording of Galtier and his son. Paris Saint-Germain continues to trust the justice system, which has opened an investigation.

A preliminary investigation was opened by the Nice Public Prosecutor’s Office and entrusted to the Judicial Police of the city on the grounds of discrimination based on an alleged race or belonging to a religion. This investigation, which began last Friday with the search of the club’s premises, is following its course. The investigators also interviewed Jean-Pierre Rivère, the president of the Aiglons. Other club leaders will be heard by Nice PJ officials.
