Kylian Mbappe is likely to leave PSG for Madrid in the summer. Will his successor come from AC Milan with Rafael Leao?

French leaders Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly expressed an interest in AC Milan striker Rafael Leao. Like the Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reported, the capitals have already established contact with Leao’s advisor Jorge Mendes.

Accordingly, PSG is ready to spend 70 million euros to free the Portuguese from the Rossoneri. In addition, Leao could probably earn a net salary of six million euros per year in Paris.

PSG: Will Rafael Leao replace Kylian Mbappe?

The 22-year-old would succeed Kylian Mbappe at PSG, who is expected to join Real Madrid after his contract expires in the summer. It is still unclear whether Milan are willing to let Leao go for the reported sum. Neither the club nor the player is completely convinced of the Parisian offer.

In 2019, Leao joined Milan from OSC Lille for €29.5 million. In the current season, the Portuguese international has scored eleven goals and six assists in 32 competitive games, making him one of the Italian leaders’ most prolific goalscorers.
