A strange entry appeared on the Instagram channel of Iranian Elnaz Rekabi on Tuesday morning. White writing on a black background, and sometimes in such a weird Persian that even native speakers could get puzzled. But it was written there that she regretted the worries she had caused. Her appearance without a hijab was almost an accident because the circumstances at the tournament and being unexpectedly called up to the competition prevented her from donning the headscarf properly. And she is now returning to Iran with the team according to the agreed schedule.
