The program of the Leipzig literature festival “Literary Autumn” is actually quite impressive, with first-class authors including Daniel Kehlmann, Susan Neiman, Angelika Klüssendorf and Wolfram Lotz. The former publisher of the Cologne publishing house Kiepenheuer & Witsch, Helge Malchow, is also said to be there to moderate a reading by the women’s rights activist Alice Schwarzer, who is presenting her book “My Life” in Leipzig, which was published by the same publisher a year ago.
