Fynn Kliemann is an influencer, musician, YouTuber – and businessman. In the latter function, he is now confronted with allegations of not having made the production site of masks transparent.

Influencer and musician Fynn Kliemann has responded to a critical post by satirist Jan Böhmermann on his protective mask business.

Böhmermann’s video contribution to the show “ZDF Magazin Royale” published on Friday raised the suspicion that the production site of masks – Asia instead of Europe – could not have been made transparent on purpose; Kliemann was put in contact with a corresponding company.

When asked by the dpa, a statement by Kliemann said: “I have to admit that I could no longer oversee the process.” It also said: “This must never happen and therefore I take responsibility, even if I was neither a producer nor a seller.” Through these omissions, not having dealt with these processes in detail, he has disappointed many. At the same time, Kliemann asked for a differentiated look at the details in the video contribution.
