Once on the same stage as Ed Sheeran: This dream is now coming true for Florian and Charlene Gallant. The couple is one of the six finalists in “The Voice of Germany”.

Premiere on “The Voice of Germany”: With Florian and Charlene Gallant (36 and 32), a married couple is in the final of the casting show for the first time.

The parents of two from the Rhineland-Palatinate mother city received most of the audience votes in the team of singer Mark Forster on Sunday evening.

Also in the finale of the ProSiebenSat.1 show: Schmuserocker Sebastian Krenz (29, Oppurg) from the Johannes Oerding team, the Croatian-born Katarina Mihaljevic (21, Pfungstadt) from coach Sarah Connor, musical artist Gugu Zulu (29, Hamburg) from the team Nico Santos and Linda Elsener (20, Seewen in Switzerland), who has actually already retired, who had received a second chance in the comeback team of singer Elif.

Cancellations due to childbirth and corona

The three and a half hour live broadcast from Berlin-Adlershof took place without presenter Thore Schölermann, who had announced the birth of his daughter Ilvi shortly before the show. Instead, Melissa Khalaj (“The Voice Kids”) moderated at Lena Gercke’s side. The previously announced band Coldplay also had to pass due to a Corona case in the area – Rea Garvey was on stage for this.

The “The Voice” final will be broadcast on Sat.1 next Sunday (8.15 p.m.). World star Ed Sheeran will be among the guests.
