Who would have thought? Rock’n’Roll and pop star Peter Kraus is behind the singing skunk. The 82-year-old left the third episode of “The Masked Singer”.

The skunk disappears with a huge surprise: The 82-year-old rock’n’roll and pop star Peter Kraus (“Sugar Baby”) took part in the music show “The Masked Singer” in an elaborate costume.

That the musician, who had already celebrated great success in the 1950s, was wearing one of the masks of the Rate program, it became clear on Saturday evening – he received too few audience votes and therefore had to reveal his identity. Kraus forced himself out of a skunk costume in which he had sung without being recognized. “It was fun,” he said. “It was actually almost an acting job, I would say.”

Probably no one had previously suspected the Munich-born singer under the mask. Musician Rea Garvey in the advice team guessed moderator Joko Winterscheid – who is 40 years younger than Kraus. His colleague Ruth Moschner at least smelled the Schlager profession and the age group of the skunk: She guessed Michael Holm (78, “Mendocino”).

Kraus left the third episode of the current season of the ProSieben show. A special feature of the issue was that a candidate had to sit out because of a corona infection: The teddy could not compete. In a video message, however, the shaggy bear stated that he hoped to be there again in the next episode. “I’m double vaccinated and I’m totally grateful that I’m doing so well under the circumstances,” said Teddy.
