The decision on the art promotion prizes 2022 of the Free State of Bavaria in the field of “fine arts” has been made, each endowed with 6000 euros: Monique S. Destos (Regensburg) receives it for her art objects with media elements, Lena Grossmann (Munich) for her mix of installations and Performance and Tian Guoxin (Nuremberg) for her HD video about the risks of Bitcoin mining. In addition, Hayato Mizutani (Munich) and Maria VMier (Passau) share the special prize “The Artist’s Book as an Independent Work”. The award ceremony will take place on November 14th at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.
