Boris Becker has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison. Angela Ermakova, with whom he has daughter Anna, now wishes him “strength”.

Boris Becker (54) was sentenced to two years and six months in prison last Friday. Angela Ermakova (54), with whom the tennis star has daughter Anna (22), is “shocked” after the verdict as she tells “Bild TV”.. “I’m very sad,” she continues. “I feel sorry.”

She now wishes him “that he manages to convert his sentence into a shorter one”. She also wished him “strength to face the biggest challenge of his life” and “to get up again as a stronger man”.

Daughter Anna Ermakova wants to visit him in prison “whenever I can”

Daughter Anna Ermakova had already spoken up immediately after the verdict of the British Southwark Crown Court. “I will support him and I will visit him whenever I can. I hope that will help a little bit to get through the time,” she told the “Bild” newspaper.

Judge Deborah Taylor sentenced Becker to two and a half years in prison last Friday. He had previously been found guilty on four out of 24 charges by a grand jury in his adopted home of London.

The former tennis pro is said to have concealed his fortune in the millions after he was declared bankrupt by a London court in 2017. Becker and his team can still appeal the guilty verdict and the sentence.
