Princess Rajwa of Jordan mourns the death of her father. The Saudi businessman died at the age of 71.

Around eight months ago, Princess Rajwa of Jordan (29) experienced one of the most beautiful days of her life with her wedding to Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein (29). Now the daughter-in-law of the Jordanian royal couple had to go through the hardest day of her life. Her father, Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saif, died at the age of 71, as the Jordanian royal family announced. Accordingly, the Saudi businessman died on February 18th. A cause of death was not given.

“May his soul rest in peace,” the statement said. King Abdullah II (62) ordered three days of national mourning. Khaled Al-Saif leaves behind his wife Azza Al Sudairi and their four children Faisal, Naye, Dana and Rajwa.

Emotional words from son-in-law Hussein

Crown Prince Hussein also dedicated a tribute to his late father-in-law an Instagram postt: “It is with deep sadness and sadness that we say goodbye to my beloved father-in-law. We will always remember his kindness, generosity and integrity,” wrote the 29-year-old alongside a photo that shows both men in an embrace. The photo is from the day of his engagement to Princess Rajwa.

Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan have been married since June 1, 2023. There were more than 1,700 guests at the wedding in Amman, including European royals such as Princess Kate (42), Prince William (42), King Frederik (55) and Queen Mary (52) of Denmark or King Willem-Alexander (56) and Queen Máxima (52) of the Netherlands.
