Great concern for Princess Kate: After her abdominal operation, Prince William remains her “rock in the surf”. He has already visited her twice.

In a complete surprise, Kensington Palace announced on Wednesday afternoon that Princess Kate (42) had to undergo abdominal surgery on Tuesday. Not much is known about her exact health status. However, the statement said that she had survived the procedure well, had to stay in the clinic for 10 to 14 days and could only make public appearances again after Easter. As the British tabloid magazine “The Sun” now reports, her husband, heir to the throne Prince William (41), is currently firmly at her side.

Yesterday, on the day of the procedure, William was with his wife at The London Clinic. According to the report, a day later, on Wednesday after the operation, the son of King Charles III. (75) paid his wife a visit in the hospital. The three children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5), however, went to school regularly in order to make everyday life as normal as possible.

Prince William the “rock in the surf” for Princess Kate

Royal expert Phil Dampier told the paper: “William will be Kate’s rock while she is in hospital, but other members of the royal family will also give her their love and support.” At home, William will look after the children, but will of course continue to be supported by the Spanish nanny Maria Borrallo, who has always been there for the children. With her the children are “in good hands”. Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton (68), would also be a great support for the family during this phase.

Princess Kate made her last public appearance during the Christmas service alongside her husband Prince William and their three children on December 25, 2023 in Sandringham.
