princess Kate (42) can count on the support of her family. After she made her cancer diagnosis public, the royals made individual public statements about the disease.

King Charles (75), who is currently battling cancer, said through Buckingham Palace that he was “very proud” of Kate “for having the courage to speak out like she did.” He also wrote that he was “in close contact with his beloved daughter-in-law,” as reported by the “BBC”, among others.

Harry and Meghan wish “peace and healing”

Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42) also spoke out – despite their difficult relationship with the royal family. In a first statement, which, among other things, quotes “The Sun”.they said: “We wish Kate and her family health and healing and hope that they can do so in peace and calm.”

Kate’s younger brother James Middleton (36) also took to Instagram and encouraged his sister: “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too,” he wrote about a child’s photo.

The princess made it public on Friday evening – after weeks of wild speculation about her health – that she was fighting cancer. This was discovered after her abdominal operation in January. In the emotional video Kate also explained that she had started precautionary chemotherapy.

Prince William provides comfort and reassurance

Kate also spoke in the video about the role of her husband, heir to the throne Prince William (41), during this difficult time. “Having William by my side is also a great source of comfort and reassurance. So is the love, support and kindness that so many of you have shown me. That means so much to both of us,” the future couple explained Queen.
