Flower decorations instead of a tiara at the coronation?
Princess Kate is reportedly toying with the idea of wearing a wreath of flowers to Charles’s coronation.

Charles’ coronation is the royal event of the year – and Princess Kate could be breaking with tradition there.
Will Princess Kate (41) attend the coronation of King Charles III. (74) break with a longstanding tradition next May 6th? Like the British “Times” reported, Prince William’s wife (40) could appear at the ceremony not with a royal tiara, but allegedly with a wreath of flowers.
If you look back to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) in 1953, almost all high-ranking royals wore tiaras. The dazzling headgear is mostly used by the royal family for formal state occasions, which would also include the coronation of King Charles.

According to the “Times”, Kate’s possible headdress is currently only speculation, royal sources have not yet been able to confirm or deny this. According to the report, Kate reportedly wanted to wear a wreath of flowers when she married William 12 years ago, but ended up wearing a tiara because of tradition.
