Princess Charlotte, daughter of William and Kate, has revealed her favorite sport. It’s not soccer, and it’s not swimming.

Princess Charlotte (7) attended the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Tuesday with her parents, Duchess Kate (40) and Prince William (40). After a swimming competition, the trio headed to SportsAid House to visit a charity that Kate became a patron of in 2013.

Tim Lawler, CEO of SportsAid, told Hello! magazinethat Princess Charlotte has revealed her favorite sport to him – and while she’s a “rising star” in football, Prince William says it’s not her first choice. “She really loved watching swimming, but she is interested in gymnastics and while they try many different sports at home, when I asked her about the sport, she replied very simply, ‘I like gymnastics ‘” Lawler said.

As “Mail Online” also reports, Duchess Kate is said to have added: “Charlotte spends most of her time upside down, doing handstands and cartwheels.” Later in the day, Princess Charlotte showed her enthusiasm for the sport as she watched the gymnastics competition live at Arena Birmingham. The young royal smiled widely and raised her arms in the air as she watched.

Princess Charlotte is interested in sports

Just a few days ago, she proved that the princess has a fondness for sports. Along with her father, the seven-year-old posted a video message on Instagram targeting the England women’s national football team. The two wished the players good luck for the European Championship final. The team won the final against Germany 2-1 in extra time on Sunday (31 July).
