Princess Charlène still does not seem to have fully recovered. Your appearance on the national holiday in Monaco has been canceled.

Princess Charlène von Monaco (43) will not take part on the national holiday in Monaco this coming Friday (November 19). The reason for their cancellation are health problems, such as the Prince’s Palace on his official Facebook page announced. Charlène was exhausted from her medical treatments. “After struggling with poor health in recent months, the princess is currently recovering and will continue this in the coming weeks,” writes the palace.

Charlène’s whereabouts remain a secret

Where Charlène is currently looking after her well-being is still unknown. In order to protect her privacy, “the whereabouts of the princess will remain strictly confidential”. As soon as her state of health allows, Charlène will return to her “princely duties” and look forward to “spending time with the Monegasque”.

Recently there has been much speculation about Charlène’s current place of residence. Among other things, it was said that the princess wanted to move out of the palace after rumors had surfaced about possible marital problems with Prince Albert II during her absence. Her sister-in-law Chantell Wittstock assured her the South African news site “News 24” a few days ago that Charlène was “extremely happy” to be home with her family again. “She will live with her husband and children.”

Return after ten months

At the beginning of November, Princess Charlène returned to her family in Monaco after a ten-month stay in South Africa. After a severe ear, nose and throat infection, the doctors forbade her to take the long return flight. The 43-year-old had to be treated in the hospital several times. Her participation on the national holiday in Monaco would have been her first public appearance since returning. November 19th is a big occasion for the Monegasque royal family year after year and is celebrated with a gala, a parade, a church service and the traditional balcony greeting.
