Prince William would not accept any help from his brother Harry in the current crisis – an ex-butler to the royals is certain.

Not even in the current very challenging time for the British royals is the help of Prince Harry (39) wanted – at least that’s how a former employee of the royal family assesses the situation.

There had recently been speculation as to whether Princess Diana’s second-born son (1961-1997) would offer his help to the royals in the ongoing crisis. Former butler Paul Burrell (65) believes that his brother Prince William (41) would most likely turn down an offer of help. He worked as personal servant to Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) in the 1980s and as Diana’s butler in the 1990s.

While Princess Kate (42) is recovering from an operation on her abdomen and recently caused all sorts of speculation about her health with an edited Instagram photo, King Charles III. (75) is currently dealing with his cancer treatment. Both high-ranking royals have largely stayed out of the public eye during this time. Paul Burrell said in an interview, from which the “Mirror” quotes, that things in the family would now change and the royals “couldn’t continue at the same pace” as before.

Paul Burrell: ‘There’s no way back for Harry’

A new start for the family could therefore be made with the Trooping the Color parade in June. The following are not taken into account: Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan (42). Too much has happened since the two stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to the USA. Burrell is certain: “There is no place for Harry in the royal family. He has made his bed and now he has to lie in it too. Too much has already been said. The drawbridge is up and there is no way back for him Harry.”

The former butler thinks it’s likely that Harry thinks there’s a way to “put on a uniform and do some jobs for William and Charles.” For his brother, however, this would be out of the question, the butler makes clear: “William has drawn a line in the sand and has had enough, so that Harry will forever be the outcast prince that he has made himself into.” His job as a member of the royal family is over, Queen Elizabeth II made that clear to him, said Burrell.

Princess Anne – savior of the monarchy?

It is also clear to the former butler who could save the royal family: “I think the only person who can save the monarchy is Princess Anne.” He describes the 73-year-old daughter of Prince Philip (1921-2021) and the late Queen as a “workhorse” who is “stoic” and “reliable”. “It can hold its ground in any crisis,” he is certain.
