Football fan Prince William congratulates the English women’s national team on reaching the European Championship final. “We believe in you.”
Prince William (40) congratulates England’s football women on entering the final of the European Championship in their own country. “Congratulations on reaching the final,” writes the British heir to the throne personally on Twitter.
The whole country is proud of what the team has achieved. “We believe in you and will walk with you all the way!” Even before the game, he had wished the team good luck on Twitter.
The Lionesses qualified for the European Championship final on Sunday. The England women’s national football team beat their Swedish rivals 4-0. Beth Mead (27), Lucy Bronze (30), Alessia Russo (23) and Fran Kirby (29) scored the goals.
Who else is playing in the final?
It is still unclear against whom the English footballers will play in the final of the European Championship on Sunday (July 31) at the sold-out Wembley Stadium. You can choose between Germany and France, the two teams meet on Wednesday evening (July 27) at 9 p.m.
