With a previously unpublished photo, King Charles III. congratulates his heir Prince William on his 41st birthday. The snapshot shows a touching father-son moment.
The British heir to the throne, Prince William, celebrates his 41st birthday on June 21st. Congratulations already came from his father. King Charles III shared a previously unseen dad and son moment from the rehearsals for his coronation on the royals’ official Instagram page.
William and Charles in good spirits at the coronation rehearsals
The snap shows the two royals laughing as they rehearse a key moment of the coronation ceremony ahead of May 6. William helped his father put on the royal robes. Charles’ Instagram post read: “Happy Birthday to the Prince of Wales today!”
The picture was taken by photographer Chris Jackson, who also took it on his Instagram account posted. He wrote: “Happy Birthday to the Prince of Wales! Lovely to capture this relaxing moment behind the scenes at the coronation rehearsals.” In addition, Jackson showed a shot of the young Prince William and commented: “Here is a photo from the time when ER was behind the camera”.
