Even if they had a serious concern, current pictures from a visit to the British county of Lancashire show how much Prince William (39) and Duchess Kate (40) enjoyed their time there. Beaming with joy, the two were allowed to stroke the therapy dog Alfie.
Difficult work in the pandemic
on The royals announced on Instagramfor visiting Clitheroe Community Hospital on January 20th for a meeting with staff. William and Kate spoke to the healthcare professionals about the different experiences they’ve had during the COVID-19 pandemic. They also learned about the work of the charity NHS Charities Together, of which they are patrons, at the hospital.
While the team is under a particularly heavy burden due to Corona, NHS Charities Together is helping to take care of the mental well-being of the employees. Not only has a separate room been set up for this, but there are now also two therapy dogs in the hospital – the six-year-old Jasper and Alfie, who is new to the team.
