He is 78 years old, but it’s not too late to have children. As Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt has now announced, after six children he wants to adopt another. And the nobleman plans even more.

Apparently, six adult adopted sons are not enough for the German Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt. The 78-year-old Californian by choice told the German Press Agency on Monday that he wanted to carry out three more adoptions. “Next thing I’m going to do is adopt a girl, I just want to give it a try.” He cannot yet reveal the name of the German candidate “from a good family,” but she has already agreed. “Maybe that’s the big lottery win,” hopes the widower.

Von Anhalt, best known as the ninth husband of Hollywood actress and glamor icon Zsa Zsa Gabor, has no biological children. Gabor died in Los Angeles in December 2016 at the age of 99. Last July she was buried in her native Budapest. The German businessman himself came to his aristocratic title in 1979 when he was adopted as an adult by Princess Marie Auguste von Anhalt.

He is not only looking for a worthy heir for his fortune, but above all a support at his side, says von Anhalt. “Now it’s about who will help me. I want security and support,” says the widower. “I want to play it safe”. In the event of his death, all of the money would go to the City of Los Angeles unless he named an heir.

His life revolves around adoptions

Kevin Feucht, who was born in Sonthofen, joined the company in December as the sixth adopted son. The 27-year-old, who studied marketing in Santa Barbara, California, is the son of an acquaintance, says the widower. On Instagram, Feucht also posts photos together with the adoptive father under the name “Prince Kevin von Anhalt”. But the widower laments that none of the adopted sons really spend much time with him.

Anhalt continues his search on US television. He is currently starring in A&E’s 10-part adult adoption series, Adults Adopting Adults. And he is already making plans for a TV series with his own offspring and him as “old dad”. He imagines a cheeky show with four adopted children about the luxury life in Beverly Hills, says von Anhalt. His dream children should have a job, be sporty and “have a little something in their head”.
