Prince Harry’s TV interview: A reformed prince with a mission

After the Netflix documentary and before the book, Harry gives not just one, but two big TV interviews. Is this a good idea? And what does Harry want?

oh harry He paid attention to everything: carefully selected questions. An ambience that looks like grandma’s granny flat. Just no flaunted Californian luxury like in the Oprah interview or in the Netflix documentary. Harry-friendly interviewer, his old friend Tom Bradby, who had accompanied them on their official tour of South Africa three years ago. And above all: intensive media training.

The royal family has their own experience with TV interviews. But Harry’s interview isn’t a car accident like Uncle Andrew’s was three years ago, by no means. But Uncle Andrew is a whole different chapter anyway. It’s also not an interview like Mother Diana’s, with wide eyes and suppressed tears.
