Prince Harry Autobiography: Who Earns From Prince Harry’s Book – Economy

It is a very special farewell gift that Markus Dohle gave his employer. For almost 15 years, the German, who comes from Arnsberg in the Sauerland region, ran the world’s largest book publisher Penguin Random House in New York. In December he announced his departure. But before that, Dohle, 54, and his people had landed the worldwide rights to Prince Harry’s memoirs. The contract was negotiated in the United States, the new home of Harry and his wife Meghan. It’s a pretty good deal for the New York publisher and thus also for the parent company Bertelsmann – even if the rights may have been expensive. There are no numbers, but Harry is said to have received around one hundred million dollars for a documentary on Netflix alone.
