Will Meghan stand in the way of a possible reconciliation between Prince Harry and Prince William? That’s what a royal expert suspects.

Is Duchess Meghan (42) standing in the way of a reconciliation between Prince Harry (39) and Prince William (41)? At least that’s what one royal expert speculates to the British “Sun”. According to Richard Fitzwilliams, the brothers could finally settle “one of the worst public royal disputes of all time” – if Harry’s wife doesn’t stand in the way. He sees the cancer of King Charles (75) and Princess Kate (42) as an opportunity for the two estranged brothers to speak out.

According to the expert, “surprising things” could happen as early as next week. There had previously been unconfirmed rumors that Prince William and Princess Kate had invited Prince Harry and his family – consisting of Duchess Meghan and the children Archie (4) and Lilibet (2) – to Great Britain. However, it is fairly certain that Prince Harry will come to England in May to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invitctus Games. Perhaps he would come to visit beforehand to see King Charles.

Fitzwilliams confirmed to The Sun that there had been a brief conversation between the brothers. “Nobody knows what William and Harry said to each other when they spoke briefly,” said the expert. If Meghan doesn’t cause any problems, reconciliation is possible despite the “very deep divide.” “Meghan is in charge. There is no doubt that Harry wants to convey that he is a very devoted family man and will put her above all else. Just like William,” said the longtime royal commentator.

Why doesn’t Duchess Meghan want to travel to Great Britain?

Another problem is “that Meghan is apparently not keen on visiting Great Britain because she is not popular here. Harry isn’t either, but it’s different with him. She wanted it that way.” If Meghan travels to England, there will be “a huge amount of negative publicity” because of her behavior over the last four years.

Fitzwilliams suspects she could use the fact that Harry’s request for more security to protect her in the UK was recently rejected as an excuse: “I think security could be used as an excuse not to come.”
