While Prince Harry is in London for the coronation on May 6, his son Archie is celebrating his birthday. This is how the celebrations are supposed to go.
While Prince Harry (38) attended the coronation of King Charles III on May 6th. (74) in London, his son Archie (3) will be celebrating his birthday at home in California on the same day. As it became known in mid-April, Duchess Meghan (41) is probably staying in the United States with the couple’s two children for this reason. There she is supposed to organize a small party for her soon to be four-year-old son, like an insider now told “People” magazine.

“They will have friends there and Meghan’s mother, Doria. Meghan will definitely have support over the weekend,” continues the anonymous source. Archie’s sister Lilibet (1), who turns two in June, will also be part of the celebrations. “They’re so cute together. Archie loves Lili. He’s such a sweet boy. When she’s not around he’s like, ‘Where’s Lili?'” the insider said.
The palace confirmed on April 12 that Prince Harry was traveling to his native Britain for the coronation of his father and his wife, Queen Camilla, 75. At the same time, it was announced that the Duchess of Sussex would “remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet”. According to royal expert Omid Scobie (41), the fact that the coronation falls on Archie’s birthday should have played a role in the couple’s decision that Meghan will not come with them.
Archie and Lilibet were last in the UK for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee (1926-2022). The late Queen is said to have met her great-granddaughter, named after her, for the first time.
