Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th jubilee is coming up. Will Harry and Meghan also stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace?

The royal waves between the British royals and their “lost son” Prince Harry (37) and his wife Meghan (40) seem to be smoothing out more and more. After the two surprising short visit to the Queen last week, it is now even rumored that the Sussexes could return to a place pregnant with meaning at the upcoming celebration of Elizabeth II’s (95) platinum anniversary. According to a report by the Daily Mail The Queen invited her grandson and his wife to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family to mark the 70th anniversary of the throne.

Year after year, the Royal Family gathers on the balcony to attend the traditional air show in honor of the Queen. This year’s four-day celebration of her platinum anniversary will take place on June 2nd. Since Harry and Meghan have not been working members of the royal family since “Megxit”, they are no longer allowed to take part in official events. According to the report, the Queen has now promised them a place on the balcony.

Reconciliation with lightning visit?

Harry and Meghan are currently at the Invictus Games in the Netherlands. There the Queen’s grandson also chatted about his secret meeting with his grandmother. Speaking to the BBC, Harry said: “She’s had numerous messages for the UK team, most of which I’ve already passed on. It was great to see her again. I bet she’d love to be here when she could.”

Last week’s meeting marked the first time Duchess Meghan had returned to the UK since March 2020. Harry was last in his homeland last summer at a ceremony honoring his late mother, Diana.
