Queen should deprive him of military titles

In an open letter to the Queen, more than 150 veterans demand that Prince Andrew lose his military title.
Prince Andrew (61) should lose his military title – at least if it comes to a little more than 150 British veterans. Have in an open letter among other things, according to a report by the British “Sun” Former members of the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and Army Queen Elizabeth II (95) asked to revoke their son’s titles with immediate effect.
Through his connection to the late US millionaire and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019) Andrew brings the military into disrepute, it is said, among other things. The veterans are “upset and angry” and regardless of the outcome of an impending trial, Andrew is “untenable” for the military.
Impending process in autumn
If it were another person in a comparable position, it would be “inconceivable” that this person is still in office. “Officers in the British military are committed to the highest standards of honesty, honesty and honorable behavior,” the letter continued. Andrew stands behind these standards.
Andrew faces civil lawsuit in the United States. A New York judge recently ruled that a lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre, 38, against the Royal should not be dismissed. Giuffre accuses Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was a minor. He denies the allegations. If the two parties do not reach an out-of-court agreement beforehand, a spectacular trial could probably take place in the autumn.
