Last week, Prince Andrew made his first public appearance since agreeing with abuse victim Virginia Roberts. Now new trouble is imminent. The prince’s name fell in a lawsuit related to embezzled money.

Prince Andrew’s name could be heard outside a London High Court on Friday. While the Queen’s favorite son has not himself been charged this time, he may have been involved in a case involving an alleged embezzlement of millions of euros by a Turkish businessman. However, the prince is said to have known nothing about it.

The case, currently being analyzed in the London court, is complicated. London-based businessman Selman Turk is facing charges of fraud in the English capital. A rich Turkish woman named Nebahat Isbilen had commissioned him to transfer her assets abroad because her husband was in prison – for political reasons, according to the plaintiff. It is said to have been a sum between 40 and 66 million pounds. The woman had fled her home country for political reasons and, according to her own statements, had commissioned the businessman Turk to bring her money to safety in this way. But a considerable sum of money is missing, which is why the court is now rolling up where the money could have gone. Isbilen is now suing for the return of her assets. However, the accused businessman denies the allegations.

Prince Andrew’s entire family is said to have received money from Turk

According to a report in The Telegraph newspaper, more than a million pounds from the plaintiff’s fortune also went to Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson through Turk. This sum is said to have been paid to make it easier for the Turkish woman to get an English passport. A wedding gift for his daughter Princess Beatrice is said to have been indicated in the transfer of around £750,000 to Prince Andrew. In the case of Sarah Ferguson, who is said to have received a transfer of around £225,000, the subject of the transfer was probably “brand ambassador” for one of Turk’s companies. Smaller sums are said to have been transferred to the daughters of the two, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Prince Andrew has already repaid the money, the family is said to have known nothing about the fraud. Sarah Ferguson’s rep told The Sun: “The Duchess was unaware of the allegations that have surfaced against Mr Turk. She is obviously concerned about what he is being accused of.”

The British prince has just been able to escape a large, public trial for the sexual abuse of a minor with a settlement payment. After this scandal, he appeared in public for the first time last Tuesday at the memorial service for his father.
