Ex-Dortmunder Bellingham “ten times better” at Real

New signing Jude Bellingham towers over Real Madrid’s win in Almería. The Englishman then says something that Borussia Dortmund fans will not necessarily like.
The former Dortmunder Jude Bellingham also commented on his strong performance for Real Madrid at UD Almería with a small dig at BVB.
“I’m ten times better than last season,” said the England international on club TV at the top Spanish club after the 3-1 win. “I feel very comfortable with these players and am learning every day.” The level at Real is “so high and I’m like a sponge that absorbs everything my team-mates tell me”.
Bellingham (20) moved to Spain this summer for the basic amount of 103 million euros, BVB can also receive bonus payments up to a maximum total of around 30 percent of the fixed amount.
In Almería, the Englishman scored his team’s first two goals (19th minute and 60th), while Bellingham set up the third goal by Brazilian Vinícius Júnior (73′). “The most important thing is that I play well and do my part,” said Bellingham, who plays alongside Germany international Antonio Rudiger and 2014 world champion Toni Kroos. “I’m happy to score a goal and help the team win games, but I have to work on every area of my game.”
Bellingham’s second goal had prepared Kroos worth seeing. It was his 63rd assist in the Spanish top flight.
