Inflation in Great Britain continues to fall, but is still at a high level. In January, consumer prices were 10.1 percent higher than in the same month last year, according to the ONS statistics office in London. In December, inflation was still 10.5 percent. Last October, inflation even reached its highest level in 41 years at 11.1 percent, since then it has been declining somewhat.
