In a party mood with Anne (Verena Altenberger), her friend Laura (Lisa Wagner) and his best friend and fellow Jewish doctor Tobias (Lasse Myhr), Daniel (Maxim Mehmet) also pretends to be a Jew. He wants to impress Anne in particular. She has specialized in Jewish literature with her bookshop, is a volunteer in a Jewish retirement home and also supports the Jewish author Schlomo Wisniewski (Dieter Hallervorden). Anne and Daniel become a couple and the little swindle becomes a web of white lies that Daniel can’t get out of.
